Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all had a great halloween, and a safe one too! If you have been reading my posts here recently then you know that I blogged about taking the kids to a Halloween party tonight... we went to that and went trick or treating and they had soooo much fun!! I didn't get to film a video of all the goodies that I made for the party because my day was waaaay busier than what I thought it would be, but I did film a lil video afterwards so maybe I will load it tomorrow! Here are some pics from our night!
Some of the goodies and decorations.... the homemade confetti cupcakes that were delicious (my friend Stephanie made them)....plus the witch hats that I made! Don't you just love my Hello Kitty camera case on the table? haha
The kiddos.... Michael was Batman but you can't see his costume here.... and Elizabeth was a ballerina (this worked out because it was really chilly out), I was bummed that her big cute headband was nowhere to be found though! Her lil ballet slippers tied and were tutu cute haha!
Baby's first Halloween!!! Daddy carried her the whole time we were trick or treating and she was sooo sleepy that one minute she was wide awake and the next she passed out on his shoulder snuggled up to him under her ballet blanket.... oh how she always melts my heart! Well it was a busy busy day and I have been up since before 5 a.m. and had only 2 and a 1/2 hrs of sleep so I am off to bed!

MAC starter kit
Everyone seems to have a MAC starter kit video... well those that are huge MAC fans anyways haha! I decided I need to get with the game and get mine out... but I didn't want to make it one of those super long videos that everyone is just wishing they would move onto the next thing and hurry and tell us what they like... I know you guys know what I mean, sometimes it is really annoying wanting to know something but the person takes ten minutes talking about just one thing before they go on to tell us what's next! Well no worries here, I just decided to make mine a really fun slide show explaining all I like, and the best part is that I did it in less than two minutes! I couldn't believe it! Here it is, and I hope this helps...

Green Smokey Eye
My newest video is up...actually I have two, but if you follow me on here than you may have already noticed that I changed the name of this blog... it's now "foxxybeauty", which I am really excited about! I originally was just going to create an entire separate blog for my beauty stuff but noone seems to mind when I post other stuff on here besides beauty, so I decided to just keep it simple and keep it to one!
Now, for my newest video here it goes...
Now, for my newest video here it goes...
Green smoke anyone?
To create this I used...
First I primed my eyes with Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion...
For shadows- ricepaper from MAC, jungle from Chanel, and I used two bright green shadows from BH Cosmetics from their cool matte series in the numbers 17 and 14! As well as a shade from their warm matte series in the number 13!! I used charcoal brown from MAC for my eyebrows too...
To line my eyes I used number 10 from Chanel which is a black waterproof eyeliner (or you could use smolder from MAC)...they went over that with a matte black shadow, I used carbon from MAC.
For mascara I used L'oreal double extend tubes mascara...
On my cheeks I am wearing dame blush from MAC and for the lips I lined them with native nude from Sephora and then used a lipstick from MAC called Fabby...then just went over them with MAC lipglass in "the wee coquet"(it was in their holiday collection last year)!
I didn't use too much for the lips but I wish I had've haha!
Sorry that I couldn't get the lighting right to do a good pic for this look, everything made it look EXTREMELY washed out! It was a lot darker than it looks in the pics!

Ghoulish Goodies!!
Happy early Halloween everyone! This year we are taking the kids to a Halloween party and then trick or treating and I have been SUPER excited for the fun recipes I found online!! I plan on filming making them but since that won't be until Halloween and I wanted to share them with everyone before then so I am doing it this way first haha! These are all really easy recipes...I haven't decided yet which two I am going to do but I know I AM doing this first recipe!!
First up are these super cute and yummy looking Frankenstein Brownies!! What you'll need:
-One box of Betty Crocker or your favorite brand of brownie mix(you can even do it from scratch)
-Neon green and purple food coloring, or you can mix colors to get them (blue and red make purple)
-M&M's or another small candy for the eyes
-Black tube of decorative icing
-Candy corn
-Water, vegetable oil, and egg called for on box
-one cup vanilla frosting(has to be vanilla so you can dye it)
Bake them according to whatever recipe you are following, and then decorate just like the pics above! I will go into more detail in the video, if I do that here it would be WAAAAY too long haha!
Next up we have little WITCH HATS!
Aren't these super cute? They are easy to make too! What you need:
-Hershey's Kisses (unwrapped)
-One pack fudge striped shortbread cookies
-One tube of Red or Orange decorative icing
With the bottom side up place the kisses in the center (attach using the icing and use the icing to make your rim for the hats!
Now we have WIZARD HATS!!
You need:
-One box refrigerated pie crusts softened
-3 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
-1 tablespoon of sugar
-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Roll out your crust and cut into wedges, at the thicker end of the wedge place your chocolate chips and then roll the wedge upward to the point, leaving 4 inches unrolled. Mix your sugar and cinnamon together and then sprinkle over your wizard hats and bake them 11-14 minutes at 375 degrees.
Lastly we have delicious Jack 'O Lantern Quesadillas...
Ingredients:
16 (8-inch) flour tortillas, preferably red or orange
8 teaspoons vegetable oil
4 cups grated pepper Jack cheese (12 oz.) or just cheddar(whichever kind you like)
Preheat broiler to high and place an oven rack about 5 inches from heat source. Spray your baking sheet so they don't stick. Place tortillas on a cutting board and use a sharp paring knife to trim away some of top, leaving a 1-inch "stem" so tortillas are shaped like pumpkins. Use a knife to cut two triangles for eyes and a crescent for a mouth into 8 tortillas.
Warm 1 teaspoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add a tortilla without eyes and mouth, sprinkle with a scant 1/2 cup cheese. Cover with cutout tortilla. Cook until underside is golden, 1 to 2 minutes, slide onto baking sheet, and repeat to make three more quesadillas.
Place baking sheet under broiler and broil until tops are golden. Slide onto a serving platter and loosely tent with foil to keep warm. Repeat with remaining tortillas and cheese. Serve immediately.
FOR A QUICKER WAY YOU CAN DO THESE IN THE OVEN INSTEAD!!
-Have fun eating all these delicious Ghoulish Goodies!

Coolest Mascara EVER
I was just surfing on the web.. I started off actually just looking at different celebrity's costumes and came across this!! It is a great idea... Ever had a problem with getting too much product on the wand when putting on your mascara? Well there is now a really cool solution!!!
HELLO LASH CONTROL!
These mascaras are for different things...including a brow gel! They are made with a rubber piece in the middle so the excess mascara is cleaned off before the wand ever even leaves the tube. Pretty cool huh? Go here http://www.lashcontrol.com/retail.html to see where they are available!!

Makeup for School Pics
This is a look I did for school pics, driver license pics, etc... Not exactly for a formal event since it's not really dramatic or too heavy. It's perfect for something you could just wear to school or just being out and about too!
For my eyes I used ELF pigments in the colors celebrity and socialite. I used Naked Lunch from MAC and Carbon from MAC for my lashline. I also used a color from the 28 Neutral Palette from BH Cosmetics... I used eyeliner in Smolder from MAC and Maybelline falsies mascara(for drugstore I definitely recommend L'oreal double extend tubes though)!!
On my cheeks I used a hot pink blush from my blush palette(it doesn't have a name but you can get the same palette from Coastal Scents, Crown Brush, and maybe even BH Cosmetics as well), I used Shell from MAC for a highlight and set it with Silver Dusk powder from MAC, and did a lil contouring with a blush from L'oreal true match.
Then for my lips I lined them with "radiant rosey" from Sephora, and used a soft matte lip cream from NYX called Stockholm!!

Favorite New Accessory
So as a mommy, with a baby small enough to still need a diaper bag... I introduce you to my new favorite accessory!!
I LOVE this diaper bag!! I also really like that it doesn't really look like a diaper bag, so I can use it for whatever really! All of the baby stuff is concealed inside, so you don't have bottles and everything showing in the outside pockets like normal diaper bags! It even has little compartments for all your baby needs and fits soooo much more than a regualar diaper bag does. There is even a compartment labeled "Mommy's Things" haha too cute!!
What I am really loving though is the houndstooth design and it doesn't feel like that cheap material of most diaper bags... plus I feel like houndstooth is definitely in for this season, so it fits right in!
What are all of your favorite fall accessories? Do you have any houndstooth?

New Ideas?
First off... Happy Friday everyone!
So sorry that I didn't get a new video up today! I was really hoping to get it filmed, edited, and atleast start the upload today....but none of that happened! Since my weekends are consumed with spending family time, I am going to do my best to get a new video, if not two, filmed Monday. Hopefully it will be up soon after it is filmed.
I was just well...lazy today haha! I have one or two different videos that I wanna film first, and I would like to have another costume look up, but I have no idea what it would be yet haha! If you guys have any ideas please let me know, I love hearing from everyone!

Barbie Costume Makeup
Hey everyone... so I finally got my newest costume makeup tutorial up and want to share it with all of you!! It's a Barbie inspired makeup look, only for the brunette Barbie in my case ha ha!! It can be used for either one though, I just didn't have a blonde wig for the video.. I hope you all enjoy this, don't forget to go to my beauty channel http://youtube.com/user/TheMrsFoxxy and subscribe if you haven't already, and follow me on here too!
Here is the Barbie look I was going for!
For the eyes I used Urban Decay shadows in grifter, last call, and sin! I used Carbon from MAC just to go over the liner that I used.
I used Maybelline gel liner in blackest black and went over it with L'Oreal telescopic in the color carbon.
The mascara I used was L'oreal double extend tubes and I used Revlon fantasy length lashes!
I primed my face with Urban Decay complection primer and used L'oreal true match foundation (lots of it) in the shade W4. I also used a lil concealer under my eyes...
For the lips I used pinky lipliner from NYX, flower lipstick from NYX, and MAC lipglass in sassy lassy!!

Cheap Costume Ideas
I was surfing the web for some cheap costume ideas for everyone! I clicked on a site thinking that it would be some great costume ideas...but they were too funny that I just had to share them haha! If you wanna see the real costume ideas just scroll down past the funny ones!
FUNNY COSTUME IDEAS!!* Dress all in black, tie a shot glass around your neck. What are you? A shot in the dark!
* Wear all black and put a postage stamp (enlarged if possible) on your chest. What are you? Black mail.
* Wrap yourself in wrapping paper with a tag: "From: God, To: Women". What are you? God's gift to women.
* Attach sugar-cubes (or candy) all over yourself. What are you? Sugar-Daddy or Sugar-Momma.
* Tie an old CD around your neck and carry a lighter. What are you? A CD burner? (DVDs work well too)
*Get a small weight (e.g. dumbbell) and stare at it intently. What are you? Watching your weight.
* Quarter (or preferably enlarged photocopy of one) taped to your back. What are you? A quarter-back.
* Black clothes and white face paint? A mime (you can even skip the paint if it is not available).
* Wrap yourself in some (or all) aluminum foil. What are you? A baked potato!
* Make a large colorful name tag. Say things like "I'd like to buy a vowel" or "Oceans of the world for 500". Game show contestant.
* Got an old black leather jacket? Hair Gel? Jeans? 50s guy.
* Mix black, white, red/orange, blue face paint and paint bugs and dots on your face. Put a few plastic bugs in your hair. What are you? Bug bites!
* Affix one couch cushion to the front of you and one to the back. What are you? The lost TV remote.
* Wear all white. Attach (or paint) yellow circle to your stomach. You are an egg. Add horns and a pitchfork and you are a deviled egg.
GREAT COSTUME IDEAS!!
-ANGEL: Use a sheet like a ghost, spray it lightly with some clear spray paint and toss glitter on it before the paint has a chance to dry. Make a halo and the wings out of clothes hangers or pipe cleaners covered with aluminum foil.
-CATWOMAN: You will need a black leotard or just wear all black, a tail(you can make it out of felt), black ears, facepaint for your nose and whiskers.
-LADYBUG: Use a pair of black sweats and black sweat shirt (and a pair of black shoes). Use a large piece of poster board or cardboard and cut out a large oval. Paint it red with black dots. Staple black elastic pieces (in a loop) onto the board to make arm holes. For the antenna attach craft pipe cleaners with black pom poms on the ends to a headband. Make extra arms by stuffing (black) nylons and attach to the inside of the board. Use fishing line to string the arms together so they move along with your arms.
For a sexier lady bug, you can wear just a red dress and paint or draw black dots on it....add some antennas and wings and you are good to go!
VELMA FROM SCOOBY DOO: A reddish brown wig (check Wal-Mart), Round thick rimmed black glasses, Orange sweater, Red or Orange skirt, Orange socks, Black shoes
DAPHNE FROM SCOOBY DOO: A orange or strawberry blonde wig, purple dress, purple headband, and some tall white or purple boots. Don't forget her signature scarf either!
HIPPIE: Some bell bottom jeans, a tie-dyed shirt, if you don't have long hair than any long wig, lots of peace sign necklaces, and a bandana.
BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN: Wear a long old white or light colored dress -or- get an old wedding dress from a goodwill store. With your parents help, use scissors to shred the sleeves and skirt. The dress looks great if it is tattered and old. Paint your face with white makeup -or- apply pale green makeup to entire face. Then put black makeup around the eyes. Try and get your hair standing up and frizzy like Marge Simpsons hair on the Simpsons show. If you have dark colored hair, you should use white makeup or hair spray to make a white streak in your hair up the entire length of both sides of your temples. If you have light colored hair, you should use black makeup or hair spray to make a streak in your hair up the entire length of both sides of your temples. Add any accessories you want, maybe a fake black rose.
I hope you guys enjoyed these ideas... I know that not everyone can afford to go out and spend $30.00 or more on a costume and very rarely do you ever see them for cheaper than that! So I hope this helped! Doing your own costumes is a great idea, plus it saves a pretty penny too haha... if I had've had the materials around to do this I definitely would've!!

Costume Party!!
This past weekend was super super busy... atleast I managed to get a tutorial up before the weekend! We had a housewarming party to go to during the day Saturday and then a Halloween Costume/Bonfire Party that night. Then on Sunday we had to go pick up Elizabeth from spending the night with my mom, then drive an hour and a half home to get ready to go grocery shopping and then go pick up Michael!! Sadly nothing went as planned Sunday so now we have to do our grocery shopping today hopefully haha... This morning has went really well so far, the kids let me get some sleep and didn't wake up super early like usual haha. They just finished their breakfast and now I am typing this in the living room floor with the kids to one side of me and my phone going off on the other!! Can me say multi-tasking? lol. I got pics from this weekend and wanted to share them with all of you! I really enjoyed getting to dress up with my hubby since the first Halloween we were together we didn't get to dress up since he was scheduled to work and they let him off at the last minute, and then last year he was thousands of miles away from me overseas....so it was special to be able to dress up with him and his costume was just too funny :)!! P.S. We got our costumes at Halloween Express, you can visit them online at http://halloweenexpress.com if you don't have one near you, they have tons of different costumes!!
So everything that I wanted to be they didn't have so I chose this...mainly because I LOVE the leg warmers haha..and the lil antennas!
I just had to add the mustache to my bumble bee outfit haha! He said it started getting itchy...
At the end of the night it ended up making a home on my cup, then my friend Delana added a face for it haha...I think it was suppose to be me lol!
I missed these two oh so much!! If you have ever seen any of my wedding pics you might recognize them from my bridal party!!
It was a fun night and thanks to the huge bonfire we weren't even cold outside at all!! Hope you all get to do something fun with friends this Halloween and are safe doing so!

Pocahontas Tutorial
This is the picture I chose to try and immitate for her makeup!
So my first halloween tutorial EVER is now up and I am really excited! I hope that you guys like it. Like I said this is the first one I have ever done so this is the first time I have ever tried to recreate any character(as in cartoon or movie) look!
What I Used:
I primed my face with Urban Decay primer potion
For foundation I used MAC studio sculpt in NW25 it's a lil darker than my skin right now but if you really want a tan look go for one several shades darker.
I primed my eyelid with soft ocre paint pot from MAC
For shadows any natural shadow will work and any sorta dark brown will work...I used LORAC shadows in posh and social.
I used smolder eyeliner from MAC...any kohl or gel liner will do fine
I used L'oreal double extend tubes mascara
I contoured with a brown blush from the L'oreal true match and I lightly dusted a peach blush on my apples..I used peaches blush from MAC
For the lips I lined them with dervish from MAC but you could definitely use a color with some brown tones to it...like stripdown from MAC
Then I went over them with just a purple toned lipstick from NYX lightly and topped them off with mocha lipstick from MAC.

Subtle Red Eyes
I just did a look using reds!! It is toned down though so that it can be worn whenever you please haha....
For my face I primed it with Urban Decay pore perfecting primer
Then I used Laura Mericer silk creme foundation in cashew beige
Pressed powder from Clinique
MAC select cover-up concealer
I used my new under eye concealer from CoverGirl & Olay
I did my make-up at my mom's and forgot to pack my eyelid primer haha...so I just used my concealer!
I used Dame blush from MAC
Some contouring with a blush from L'oreal true match
For shadows I used three shadows from my BH cosmetics custom palette (I tell and explain them all in the video)
I also used carbon shadow from MAC for my lashline(upper and lower)
L'oreal double extend tubes mascara
For my lips I left it super simple and just used a MAC lipglass in Fab Fun (this was in a holiday set so they don't sell it individually right now, it may be on sale again over the holidays though, I am not sure) it is just a pinkish clear gloss with shine!!
Since the lighting isn't all that great where I was filming I decided to add a few pics at the beginning of the video so that you can see the colors better! Hope you all enjoy!

For my face I primed it with Urban Decay pore perfecting primer
Then I used Laura Mericer silk creme foundation in cashew beige
Pressed powder from Clinique
MAC select cover-up concealer
I used my new under eye concealer from CoverGirl & Olay

Fall Favorites
Hey everyone...this post is definitely delayed..
My favorite September beauty products are:
My conair 1 inch curling iron
Mac lipstick captive
Mac gloss in electro lush
My jeggings even though that is fashion haha
And my boots
I am also really liking crochet and knit tops with tanks underneath..
What are your favorites for fall so far?
