What happens when your kids shop for you!

Hey everyone... yesterday we had to make the drive to renew the tags on my car, since they expire tomorrow. While we were in that area close to all the shopping and restaurants we decided to grab some dinner and then hit T. J. Maxx. We were on the hunt for some suitcases for our upcoming move/trip. Of course I couldn't help myself but to do a bit of browsing and ended up buying a cute Easter dress for Elizabeth, some shorts for Michael... and I gave Michael a choice between two cute wedges. Unfortunately, Elizabeth is a little bit too small to help out haha, and he was the only one standing there. So this is what he chose, which are super cute!

These are my newest shoes. When I asked him why he picked these over the other ones (which were just a nude wedge) he replied, "because these have a design on them and those (the other ones) don't." Ha Ha... well it helped me decide, plus they were a little cheaper too! Thanks to him these are my new Madden Girl shoes. They have this fun Aztec looking design on them in a few different colors, which I feel like can be worn with lots of different colors. Now, I just have to go through my stuff to see if I  have something that matches!

How to get Hot Pink Lips!

Hey guys... I was just reading a post from elleandblair.com about hot pink lips, and it reminded me of one of the very first videos I ever made haha.. actually it may have been the first one! Anyways, here is my very first video.. the lighting isn't wonderful, as I said it was my first video so I was just learning haha! I promise it is hot pink matte lip though haha.

Online Shopping Haul

My latest video is a lil haul.. yes I know I have a few that I have put up lately, but most of this is from shopping online! I have some things from Glitzy-Glam, Lush, Coastal Scents, Bath & Body Works, and Rue21!! For anyone that may be wanting to know my feedback from my Glitzy-Glam order.. the only negative thing that I have to say about it was that they put the wrong ribbon on what I ordered, but I kept it for two reasons. 1. It still looks really cute and it's not too far off from what I ordered. 2. I contacted them (even though on their site it says that all sales on personalized products are final) and I still have no received an email back. Other than that I really am happy with my purchase. Plus I got it really fast!

Stylish Sunglasses

As someone who does wear glasses, I am a BIG fan of fashionable eyewear! Or fashionable frames as I like to call them haha..

Sadly though, I was never a big fan of the type of glasses that turn into sunglasses once you are out in the sunlight... That was until the other day when my mom had these super stylish regular sunglasses that doubled as reading glasses. It was then that I realized I should be on the hunt for a pair of these as well. They seemed perfect for my everyday wear, since I often find myself in my sunglasses most of the time. Plus, I liked the idea of being able to look cute at the beach and read a great book without feeling totally blind in the process haha! My only issue has been that my glasses aren't just for reading... I personally have what is called astigmatism.

The crazy thing was that I never realized you could just find some really stylish frames and all you had to do was take them and have the prescription lenses put in them, well I didn't realize this until I was buying my own frames. If I had of known that then I probably would've taken a totally different approach to purchasing them, and browsed around online to see what all of my options were before making a decision. Especially now that I have been looking around on the web and I see all of these great glasses that I wish I owned.

Spring Makeup Trend to Try

Models on the Spring 2012 Louis Vuitton (shown here) runway, as well as the Dolce & Gabbana runway, were seen wearing this super simple, yet really beautiful look for this season. A 60's inspired cat-eye.

Really full eyelashes and a generous coating of black eyeliner will really make those eyes pop!

Is this something you would wear? I definitely would... it just seems so delicate and classy, and at the same time super flawless! I really love this look for spring!

I absolutely LOVE this look straight from Christian Dior. This orange-red lip is a Spring standby this season... I was super surprised when I seen this, but I LOVE it! Guess what? Brownish and purplish reds are a fair game as well! So start trendsetting...

A Late Friday Flashback

Smokey Date Night Makeup

Spring 2012 Trends

COLOR BLOCKING
Spring fashion runways were super colorful this year... take some bold, solid color pieces, like a cardi and skirt, wrap dress or demure one-piece suit! TIP: stick to no more than three colors at a time.

ORANGES AND TANGERINES
The pick for spring’s numero uno shade, Tangerine Tango, was all over the runways. And if tangerine isn’t your citrus of choice, there are plenty more orange hues to choose from.

PINK SHORT SUITS
Sure, this trend might not have been automatically filed under “wearable",   but it has lots of versatility. Wear the blazer and shorts separately for a whole new set of cute outfits!

PASTEL SHADES
I feel like this season always makes me think of some sort of pastel shades... and Spring’s sweet sorbet shades and pastel hues give off a low-key, ladylike vibe.

Exciting News! Plus a Flashback Friday!

Hey everyone, I am here with some super exciting news! Well, it is exciting for me to say the least haha!

WE ARE MOVING WOO HOO!

Why the excitement you may be asking? Well for one I just am excited for the adventure ahead... we also get to pick out a new house to move to... but there are just so many fun things that can happen now... not only will we have the opportunity to expand our family when we decide to, because we will have more bedrooms at our new house! We also will be like three hours from Virginia Beach, or even another beach for that matter haha.. Right now there isn't too much to do around here where we live at now, and there will be so much more around us where we will be moving to! We won't be moving for a little over a month from now, but lots and lots of planning has to go into this move...

I am sad that we will be far away from family, but atleast we aren't all the way on the other side of the world! My sister and I have been joking about how now she will be all the way on one coast, and I will be all the way on the other coast...

Oh I found an old pic I thought I would share with everyone... but please don't laugh haha! I am calling this my Flashback Friday... since it should've been put up yesterday but I forgot all about it!

Why is it that all the boys (I mean men haha) in our family are all tall... including my mom who is 5' 10"?! Then, us girls are all short, I am the shortest now haha... atleast in these pics I was taller than Cyndi and now I am the smallest.. well my sister Amber isn't in the pics and I think she may be like an inch shorter than me! Catelin is about three inches taller than me haha!

Did anyone notice that Dalton has a different shirt on in these pictures haha... I have no idea when we did a wardrobe change! He is the only one...  Me, Catelin, and Joseph all have on the same clothes haha...these were both taken on Christmas Eve I believe!

Bridal Shower

Hey everyone... as most of you probably already know, this past weekend I had a bridal shower to go to. My oldest friend Merissa, we have know each other since we were two years old, is getting married in May. I just so happen to be one of her bridesmaids so I am really excited. Here is a picture from her shower at Sambuca with five out of seven of her bridesmaids!

From left to right there is Laura, Kayla, Merissa (the bride to be), Me, Sarai (pronounced Sara), and Angel! Her shower was so beautiful... when we got there we went upstairs and her shower was held on the balcony overlooking the downstairs and the stage. Then, we had a menu that was handpicked and we chose which salad we wanted, then we chose an entree (I chose the filet, and my momma chose the shrimp pasta... yummy haha), and everyone automatically got a lil sample plate of a couple different desserts! Her shower made me wish that I had've went ahead and had one when I got married but for some insane reason I told my mom that I didn't want to. I guess I thought I just didn't have the time since we planned our entire wedding in just two months AHHHH!

So I am thrilled to be a part of her whole celebration.. she looked gorgeous and I loved her dress. I was with her when she bought it so I can tell you where you can get one too haha... Express! They had them in some other colors too, and the price wasn't that bad either! I wish you could've seen her shoes in this picture, they were so cute!! I just wanted to take them off her feet and take off with them haha, would've worked too since we wear the same size shoe hehe!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend either of her bachelorette parties and I will tell you guys all about that very very soon, but I will hopefully get to keep you guys updated with more pictures from her wedding and what not... I am SOOO excited for what's coming up for my family in about a month! No, I am NOT pregnant haha!

I found some great stuff from T. J. Maxx, Trade Secret, K-Mart (but I did not like the baby socks that I bought), Body Central, American Eagle, and even Victoria's Secret! Of course I didn't show or tell you everything that I got from Victoria's Secret because that would be a little odd haha!
