Gym Day Outfit Details

Last year I really started to enjoy working out at least a few times a week. I mainly just got in to doing some classes at my gym. Zumba has definitely become my favorite workout routine multiple times a week. This year though I wanted to get back in to doing some HIIT classes on top of Zumba, and I have even started incorporating some weight lifting too! I decided to share some workout clothing details because I truthfully have a decent amount of workout attire and I NEVER spend a lot on it. However, I do get lots on compliments on some of the things I wear, and people can not believe how cheap they were or where I found them. It may sound weird but I have found that if I feel cute in my workout clothes and confident, that motivates me to actually go to the gym.
 

I actually found my hoodie at Marshall's but I linked the one from the actual DKNY website. I only paid $16 for mine though. My Nike's I purchased forever ago at a Nike outlet store and I am petite so I bought them in the little boys so they were cheaper! Also, would you believe that I have found the majority of my workout pants, or maybe even all of them, at Walmart? They even have little hidden pockets.

Comfy and Casual Winter Outfit

Today we woke up to a light dusting outside and school cancelled. This was at about noon and everything was all gone and we were heading out to get some shopping done. It's still pretty chilly out today being around 24 degrees out so I made sure I wore a hat and my UGGS. Which by the way are probably my favorite pair of shoes even though a lot of people think they're ugly haha! They're for sure my most warn pair every winter and they are super warm and comfy. Definitely worth the splurge in my opinion. My cardigan I actually found at a thrift store about a year or 2 ago and it's my second most warn item in the fall and winter. I also want to add that my shirt is just a plain cotton t-shirt from Walmart.. it's super soft and comfy too!

Best of 2018

You always see the "Best Of" picture collages on instagram. Well I decided to incorporate that in to the blog world and do a quick little yearly recap from last year, all the way from January to December! 

To start of 2018 we had one decent snow day that I actually caught on camera!

Then come March we headed south to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for the kids Spring Break. I have an entire video series on youtube from this vacation, including a tour of our condo right on the beach!

We went to the Everglades while in Florida and the kids road an airboat, we watched a gator show, and they even held a real baby gator!

This trip was what Michael wanted for his birthday (BTW his actual birthday is in September each year, he just likes to wait and take vacations haha).. so we had his birthday dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.

 Next up in our year was the start of soccer season. Michael started his first year on the middle school team!

 Elizabeth celebrated her 7th birthday with a pool party!!

This was right before everyone got there. You wouldn't believe how many people ended up coming. There were literally like 60 guests that ended up coming! 

Elizabeth had her 3rd year dance recital. This year she is actually on a competitive team and has her first competition in March!

Landon turned 5 and had a Transformers birthday party with a huge inflatable water slide/bouncy house. It was literally HUGE!

We had lots of outside dinners at our old house!

Elizabeth finally learned how to swim by herself! (We knew she could.. she just finally wasn't afraid to now)

All the kids started school. Landon started Kindergarten, Elizabeth went to 2nd grade, and Michael went to 8th and turned FOURTEEN!

Then we moved the same week of Michael's birthday! (I have a full house tour up on my channel as well)

This guy also played soccer in 2018 in the fall. I took this picture after one of his games when we went to Buffalo Wild Wings!

 (which was coincidentally on Michael's actual birthday haha)

Then Christmas time game. So of course the kids got a yearly pic with Santa Claus. Minus Michael since he opted out of Santa pics haha! I guess I can't blame him at 14.

A week later we had some family Christmas pics made. I love love love the way they turned out.

The last thing to share with you all from our 2018 was Christmas Eve! I really slacked on the filming and videos of Christmas this year. Which of course I immediately regretted after I realized it.

I hope you all enjoyed looking back on our 2018. I had lots to share but here are at least the highlights from our year.

New Year... New Name

Hey everyone and welcome back. It has been far overdue for me to make more of an attempt to keep this blog updated. Truthfully, a lot has changed since my last post that was just over a year ago. Yes, you read that right...A YEAR!

For starters if you are subscribed to my youtube then you have noticed that my channel over the last 8 years has went from a beauty/fashion channel, in to more of a lifestyle/cleaning channel. Making that decision was super easy since that is what interests me now a lot more then the beauty part of the youtube community. I find myself still following all my favorite beauty vloggers, but mostly just their vlog and lifestyle videos.

Also, a little side note for everyone. You may noticed I haven't been active on youtube in about a month. That is due to a family medical situation that happened and I am just now starting to get back to a routine with my family. I just had to step back and take care of the one that needed me first.

With all of that being said, I made the decision to sorta revamp this blog and give it a new name. Thus changing it from "Foxxy Beauty," to what you currently see. Especially since most of my posts on here over the last couple of years haven't really been "beauty" posts, and this started out as a beauty blog. I am really hoping this will give me a little bit more of an inspiration to work more on this blog.
