Hey all you lovlies! I just found out about a really cool new site called Threadflip! I am going to go ahead and tell you just a little bit about it, and if you want to know everything then just check out their website for all of the details..
First off it is such an awesome concept... have any new or used (in great condition) designer or vintage items that you want to sell or buy? Then you should really check out their site.
Selling: You post pictures and details for the item you are trying to sell and you pick the prices (reasonable of course). Once your item is requested for a purchase you have three days to approve it, then Threadflip sends you the packaging and a pre-paid label for shipping it to the buyer!
Buying: When looking at an item there is always a $7 fee that has already been added into the total cost (so there isn't a hidden shipping charge, what you see is the price you are paying total)! They do accept returns in some cases... so again, check out their site for all of the details on buying and selling. Please note that I am unsure about whether or not they add taxes... they may not, I honestly don't know!
Knockoff or Replica? Threadflip states that "they do not support the sale of these type of items." If you see one you are unsure about email them. So everything you are seeing on their site is suppose to be completely authentic!
They also have a White Glove service where you send in items and they pick the prices and do all of the work for you... With this option you only get 60% of the money, and doing it yourself Threadflip only receives 20%! The White Glove option is great if you don't have the extra time in your day to manage what you are selling... especially if you have a ton of items you are wanting to sell on their site!
Go Mobile: They do have a mobile app that you can download.. Unfortunately, it's only for iphone at this time. Hopefully it won't stay that way though. With this app you can manage your whole account and shop as well.
